SkyNews constantly broadcasting and ever emphasising the worse aspects of current affairs have an equally low quality website. It's tabloid journalism for the 21st century and it's my choice to pay it little attention and perform my own reality check with each breaking news bulletin.

Quite why I would visit their website is anybodies guess, but I have on occasion. After skim reading most of their dross, I get my reality check from the comments section below. And that's where the fun begins.

"Sky News Saved Our Honeymoon" - self congratulatory drivel. The couple re-booked their own Honeymoon and Sky spoke to someone who put them up in a hotel for 3 days while they waited. But the comments are funny...

So do they check their comments?

Hmm... I don't think so. Who is Chris Smith? The next time the Bank of England lower interest rates, I'll be looking out for comments from Mervyn King along the lines of "spread the joy!"
